This is the first volume of the 'Australian vocational education review' which is edited under the auspices of the Centre for Learning and Work Research within the Faculty of Education, Griffith University. The journal publishes articles which report the findings of research, critical commentaries on developments in adult and vocational education, as well as updates of developments in the field. The focus is on Australia; however, commentaries on issues from other countries are included. The journal is published twice a year.

The following areas are discussed in this issue: the status and nature of vocational educators' work; concerns associated with access and participation in labour market programs in New South Wales; model of flexible learning for Australian industry. Show less
